  1. v0.1.3 latest
    • Fixed the rich-text editor on downloaded installs. The WYSIWYG editor for Notes and the Solution tab now loads reliably on first launch, not only when running from a developer machine.
    • More helpful errors when the editor fails to load. If the bundled editor page or the Quill library can't be reached, the app now records a clear diagnostic to the log file instead of showing an indefinite spinner.

  2. v0.1.2
    • Log time on a task without leaving the editor. Open any task, switch to the Logs tab, and add entries with a time like 1:30, 1.5, or 90m — plus an optional note. Edit or delete entries inline.
    • Voice-logged time entries (Windows). Tap the microphone button on the Logs tab, say what you worked on and for how long, and the AI parses it into a time entry.
    • Choose your microphone in Settings. New Microphone section under Settings lets you pick which input device WorkOS uses, with a built-in Test button so you can confirm levels before recording.
    • Project drill-in. Clicking a project card now opens a detail view with that project's tasks. Click any task to edit it.
    • Time logs and totals now appear immediately when you open a task — no need to refresh.
    • Log dates display in your local timezone instead of UTC.
    • Each log row now shows the actual note text you typed and the time worked at a glance.
    • Cleaner task editor — Documents and Chat tabs are temporarily hidden while we finish the file upload and comment composer (returning soon).
    • Polish: improved error messages on sign-in, voice-log diagnostics surfaced in the UI.

  3. v0.1.1
    • Fix: app no longer crashes after sign-in (eliminated a Shutdown recursion that produced STATUS_STACK_OVERFLOW).
    • Fix: UI no longer hangs on the first sign-in (rewired the login to shell handoff to stop reassigning MainWindow at runtime).
    • Fix: Notes module now loads the full body of a note instead of showing the empty list-row summary.
    • Add: Notes - inline title editing, branded Save button, and New plus Update via the portal note API.
    • Add: Projects - clicking a project card opens a detail view with its task list; rows open the existing task editor.
    • Add: Navigation now mirrors the portal plan and role permissions so users only see what their account allows.
    • Add: Branded Viviscape app icon (window, taskbar, and Windows .exe).
    • Improve: app returns to the login window on sign-out and idle timeout.
    • Improve: login dialog sizing, larger email and password fields.

  4. v0.1.0
    • A faster, native Windows app — opens instantly, no browser tab needed.
    • Take rich, formatted notes with headings, lists, links, and inline styling.
    • A cleaner workspace — only the tools your plan and role unlock are shown.
    • Fresh WorkOS app icon for your taskbar, Start menu, and desktop.

Verifying a download

Each installer has a SHA-256 hash above. On Windows 11, open PowerShell in the folder where the installer landed and run Get-FileHash .\WorkOSDesktop-<version>.exe. The output should match the hash shown here exactly — if it doesn't, redownload before running it.
